Why We Built This
For seven years, our cofounder Scott Radcliffe has led a graduate program where students run consulting engagements with real client organizations, more than 40 of them. Every engagement spanned business, process, and technology: understanding the client's goals, untangling how the work actually gets done, and building data and analytics solutions that fit. Real clients are the gold standard. They teach discovery, judgment, and how to defend a recommendation in ways a lecture never can.
But they're hard to scale:
ClientLab keeps the rigor of a real engagement and removes those limits, so every learner gets the experience, as many times as they need.
Where We Are
Internal testing, then a cohort of early-career data scientists, engineers, and analysts. The pilot cohort will be the program's first run, and curriculum partners help shape the final course.
In role
Personas stayed in their professional roles, redirected off-topic questions, and pushed testers to rethink assumptions.
Earned
Key data and documents had to be earned through good follow-up questions, which made discovery feel real.
60–90 min
Of active work per scenario, synthesizing complex, sometimes conflicting information into a recommendation.
